  • There is NO rehearsal for cast or crew on Wednesday, 4/3. Get some rest, eat well, and be ready for three great performances starting Thursday!
  • Check your email for important performance week info! Pre-show week parent email 2019
  • Next Tuesday and Thursday (3/26 & 3/28) rehearsal will run till 5:00pm.
  • Painting/work party Wednesday, 3/20, at 6:30pm! Please come help if you’re able.
  • Don’t forget! This week we add Wednesday rehearsals from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, 3/20 and 3/27.
  • As you’ve probably heard by now, Bedford Public Schools will be dismissing one hour early tomorrow due to the expected bad weather. That means we will NOT have musical rehearsal after school 2/12, and we are not planning to have the parent meeting for sets and props tomorrow night either. Stay warm, stay safe, and we’ll see full cast and crew managers on Thursday!
  • Upcoming rehearsal calls:
    • Tuesday 2/12: “Luck Be a Lady,” Top Hat, Adelaide, Sarah. City Ensemble, Brannigan, General, and Mission Band have the day OFF.
  • Parent meeting for set construction and props will be Tuesday, February 12, at 6:30pm.
  • This Thursday, 1/31, we’ll be working further on some of the gambler numbers and solo/duet work with leads. Top Hat dancers (including Shane) and City Ensemble members are NOT needed at rehearsal. Everyone else (including Adelaide and Sky) should be there as usual.
  • On Thursday, 1/24, the City Ensemble, the Top Hat dancers, and the Emcee are NOT needed for rehearsal. Everyone else (including Adelaide) should report to the auditorium as usual. We’ll be running “Sit Down” and other gambler-specific numbers that day.
  • Missed the parent meeting? Check out the notes here: G&D parent meeting notes
  • This Tuesday, January 15, at 6:30pm in the auditorium, we’ll have an informational meeting for all cast and crew parents. We’ll talk about our expectations for the kids (and vice versa), discuss ways you can help with the production, and answer any questions you may have. It’s particularly useful for 6th-grade parents and those who are new to theatre, but we hope it’s valuable to everyone. We’ll keep it short — about 45 minutes.
  • CREW PARENTS: The rehearsal schedule had listed a crew managers’ meeting after school this Thursday, 1/10. We’re not quite ready for that yet, though, so we’ll reschedule it for a later date.
  • Congratulations to the cast and crew! Rehearsals begin before holiday break this year: 12/13 for leads only, and 12/18 for full cast. There is no rehearsal on 12/20. The revised rehearsal schedule is here, and on the cast and crew page. JGMS 2019 rehearsal schedule 12-9-18
